My dsl was installed a week ago yesterday but it turns out i can only get idsl and not sdsl. So the modem i was sent was for sdsl and not idsl so the installer told me they had to send me a different one. He gets on the phone and explains my situation to whomever, and then he tells me their sending me a new one and i should get it on monday due to the fact that today was a saturday. It's been over a week now and still no modem. I've called my representative from Phoenix Networks, tried Northpoint, and a total of 3 different numbers that i have seen for Phoenix Networks for a total of 5 calls. Only answer i can get is that they dont know why i havent recieved it yet and then they tell me that they will contact so and so at such and such department and let them know my problem. Then 2 different individuals have told me they will call me back and let me know whats going on but they havent. Why is this so hard? My line is hooked up i just need my modem but no one seems to know why i havent gotten it nor do they seem to know how to go about getting me one. Was also wondering if this has happened to anyone else as well. I dont mean to sound like i think unfavorably of Phoenix Networks or Northpoint, other than this they have been excellent to deal with in terms of installation and sales. JUST SEND ME MY $#%$^ MODEM PLEASE!!!
