said by Lex Luthor :Tonight when I click the DVR tab, it still asks me to activate it and I click the box and says ok, but all I get are the little dots going from left to right and that never stops. Is this still being worked on? I encountered the same thing and found that turning the box on solved the problem. Apparently when they say activate they mean you have to have the DVR box on to activate and schedule a recording. |

| reply to CVTech I authorized with both boxes on and it looks like it finally took and I can schedule recordings on the web.
But, then I closed the browser, went back in and I had to go through the whole process over again with authorizing the DVR and this time I just got the dots going left to right non-stop again.
Wow, this is ridiculous. |

| reply to CVTech If any of you are testing Firefox 3.7a1pre (aka Minefield) does the Web DVR stuff work for you? I can't see any recordings or scheduled recordings. Namoroka 3.6b1pre works fine as well as FF 3.5.
Thanks -- Trying is the first step towards failure. |

It either loops back to the home page or when I go to terms of service there is no place to accept and activate. I've tried in Firefox and IE. |

Same as Lex Luthor, I try and activate and it just sits.
How about some testing, Cablevision? I mean really....what a nice feature - but it doesn't work! |

It works great for me, too. |

| reply to ISA2004 Don't know why I'm replying to anonymous but yeah....ok...user error...I am unable to check a box that says "Yes I agree" and click a button.
I've tried rebooting my box and to activate when it's on - no dice. Maybe I'll call in one of these days. |

fcisler,
Ever figure out what you did wrong? Probably nothing. More than a couple of people having the same problem.
I know, at least with the problems I'm having, that I'm not doing anything wrong. |

| reply to CVTech I'm a network / pc tech who has tried to get this to work using IE, Firefox, Safari, and Opera I've tried from 3 different computers and via 3 different ISP's. When I called cablevision, the support person tried with my id from the cablevision office and could not access this feature. So anyone who can not access should contact Cablevision support and ask them to do something about this. And those individuals here who can use this feature, should not assume user error for those who can not. Its a new service and its implementation is buggy. |

| reply to CVTech After they website issue is fixed and you can log in and set the changes, power cycle your DVR box or boxes for a couple seconds[default 10] and and it should work. If you have any issues with it, power cycle the boxes and it should clear it up. Apparently the online dvr "can't communicate with the box" |

IE 6 - 7 - 8 windows xp - vista - 7 os x 10.1 latest os x
just plain doesn't work for me....could be my account, my cable box...no clue. I'm absolutely positively sure its nothing I'm doing wrong. Thanks for calling me an idiot....
PS: ISA 2004 is horrible and outdated |
