Hello. I was using vonage for several years. Now recently i changed my router and when i tried to connect my vonage it is not working. Do i need to configure anything to activate my vonage. please help |

| Ok, first we need to know what ISP you have. Next, we need to know exactly how you have your network setup. Lastly, when stating the network setup please include the makes and models of all device to aid us in diagnosing your problem.

| Thank you very much for the reply. Our ISP is timewarner cable.I have a GE 5.8GHZ cordless phone,Motorola vonage router,belkin G wireless router. I have ethernet wire coming from Belkin G wireless router to the vonage router and an other wire coming from vonage router to the cordless phone.If you still need any further information please let me know. |

  Stewy Premium join:2007-12-12 Kitchener, ON | Do you have SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) enabled or disabled on your new router ?
Some "consumer routers" just can't handle VoiP with SPI enabled, try disabling that to see if it works. |
