| No, we don't yet have any progress on this from our vendor. It's an issue that they have said that they will work on, but the release of voice and some other features and bug fixes has come first for them.
Background: The issue we're talking about is a specific configuration that will not work on the Fusion Broadband ADSL2+ service. When you have multiple bridged IPs (we offer eight), you must have a unique MAC address (hardware device) assigned to each IP address. A single device cannot serve more than one IP.
So, a configuration where you have a DSL modem, a switch, and then multiple devices (Wi-Fi router with private IP NAT, servers, workstations, etc) connected isn't a problem, because each hardware device has a single IP.
But, if you were to place a hardware firewall or other hardware device which tried to do 1:1 NAT or which you wanted to answer multiple IPs (say a host serving multiple websites each with an SSL cert and thus a unique IP), that would not work in the current Fusion configuration.
Note that our symmetric speed enterprise product, the FlexLink metro Ethernet service is not affected by this issue. The residential/small biz Fusion is the only affected product.
