Stopthecap.com is also headquartered here and I keep an eye on happenings around here as well. I've noticed we ended up with a new IP address the other weekend after a network reset of some kind and had a bit slower responsiveness since then, but I already have Turbo so I am thinking they are not purposely messing with speeds. If you see dramatic speed drops, much more likely is you have a connection on the pole or home that is not moisture-proof and it needs changing. Or squirrels are chewing again. I'd call 756-5000 and ask them to do a remote test on your modem to check signal levels. In the past, that has almost always resulted in identifying a bad fitting or cable that needs replacement and they'll take care of it.
