Yes My original number was not working from October 21st aftternoon. Last incoming call I got was at around 9 Central. The alternate number was provided today evening after I requested them in BBR. I guess I am getting a better support in BBR by the TB support person than calling them directly. My original number which I have in records everywhere in my life is still not working as of today 10/26/2009 7 Central. I have friends in TB whom I revcomended and when they call my original number it works , So its some thing outside of TB that went bad just like the support team has told us in this thread. My guess, The Telco might have deleted/de-activated my number by mistake or some mis understanding between telco and TB. |

What's the deal??? For the past month there are alot of complainants about your service... Why?
Is Teleblend late on their DID (Direct Inward Dialing) payment???
Can you please explain to all us why we are having these issues. |

| If you do plan to port your number to a new provider, I suspect it will be a great deal easier to do it earlier rather than later. If you don't want to learn how to configure and install an ATA, consider Future-Nine, a provider with an excellent track record of porting numbers, and who also will sell you a preconfigured ATA. Its owner, Nitzan, is a regular contributor to this forum.

New Jersey | I agree with Mango's comments.
If you do want a provider that supplies you the ATA, choices include FutureNine, VOIPo, PhonePower, and others. But FutureNine may be the very best at dealing with a very difficult port situation. |

Ok. So to add insult to injury, they're refusing to help you until you complain in a public forum.
Given their new, less expensive plans that they're not offering to current customers, and the fact that at least one of their carriers has suspended service to them, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're having serious financial problems. Hopefully you're considering other options. If you haven't already, check out »/gbu

+1 on Future-Nine. They're an EXCELLENT value and my service with them has been great. I also have had good experiences with Callcentric, my backup provider. |

Well, if Ovation was bought by McLeod and is a part of PAETEC.
Then it probably is not a payment problem then.

You need to decide how to proceed:
a) Continue waiting for TeleBlend. Have you heard from them?!
b) Trying to contact Paetec.
c) Filing FCC complaint in regards to TeleBlend.

Since TeleBlend is not able to give answer when your phone will be back in service. I think your only option is to file the complaint with the FCC and then begin the port process to another provider.
7 Days and your phone is still down. Have they given you any indication when your phone will be working again?
This whole situation is just terrible.

| I PM'd Nitzan of Future-Nine just out of curiosity. He says if the number is indeed with Paetec it should be portable. Unfortunately, it would take the usual amount of time that all ports do.
Based on the circumstances, Nitzan says there is a small chance that Paetec could refuse the port claiming the number is "not activated". We'll cross our fingers for you.
