When you pre-paid, did you pay things like the FUSF and Sales Tax? Those are items that I paid on renewal. We all pay some of your other monthly charges like the 'Recovery' fees. Perhaps there is some reason why those are charged differently in your location than mine.

Submit a ticket to billing asking about this, if you haven't already and please keep us posted.

Different states, counties, towns all affect what the taxes would be.

Well, I only paid the $199 for renewal. It's just that I've never before seen this kind of a crazy list of miscellaneous charges being tacked on for any utility or service (including car rentals at airports -which is another crazy place where every tom, dick and harry in and out of town wants to get a cut).

Seriously? Car rentals are tacking on tire usage fees, stadium fees, etc. Ridiculous.

The problem is that VoIP is a huge business and the states, counties, towns etc are all looking for a way to get a piece of the pie. Sometimes it is less, sometimes it is more.

Email support. If you pre-paid, you shouldn't see any more charges until your term is up. This is the concept of PRE-PAY.
