[TV] Will BHN ever have a multi room DVR?

Kind of annoying but even if they had charged a "reasonable" per set premium it would be real nice if they could finally retire those ancient Scientific Atlanta 8300's in favor of anything new. Fios (I believe) and satellite have those multi set PVR's I wish BHN would get. It would be nice to watch a show recorded on on TV on any other TV instead of getting inidividual standalone boxes you have today. Hello BHN are you listening?

I suppose there would have to be a demand for this product to justify the expenditure.

Comast by end of year , Bright House early 2010. Time shifted viewing market is growing. Now TIVO will have even more problems staying afloat

why would you want a multi room dvr ? would it not be better to have all your set top boxes as dvrs, that way if your multi room dvr went down you could still record all your favorite programing on the other set top boxes, even if it is on more than two channels at a time, and then there's the E-SATA Ports on those boxes you could put a 1TB to 2TB HDD on all your boxes then you would not have to delete another program again.

that's just my two cent's LOL !

FCC regulations Title 47, Sec. 76.1201, which states the following:

No multichannel video programming distributor [Cable Co] shall prevent the connection or use of navigation devices [converter boxes] to or with its multichannel video programming system [Cable TV], except in those circumstances where electronic or physical harm would be caused by the attachment or operation of such devices or such devices may be used to assist or are intended or designed to assist in the unauthorized receipt of service.

CALL AND TELL Brighthouse that thy are in violation of Title 47, Sec. 76.1201 ALL SET TOP BOXES MUST HAVE ACTIVE and FUNCTIONING PORTS !!!.

THANK YOU !!!

It's a great idea what you say. But, if you like paying $16 a month for each room then that is right for you.

ATT has whole home DVR and it is only $5 extra per box per room.

This is not to say which service offers better product for price.

I wouldn't switch to ATT.

BHN though would do well to give users the option to just use a set top box in each room to view a whole home DVR.

I don't like the noise that comes from the DVR at night when the HD powers on and off in my bedroom. Yes I have one in my bedroom.

Bigdaddy,

It support True2way which means multiroom. Google it and you will see. Not like I care I only have 1 TV. If I put a TV in the bedroom I fall alseep so pretty useless.

Not that care what At&T has on there network or for what price they charge for it is still inferior to Verizon Fios and Brighthouse Networks. In reply to Randall, Tru2way has nothing to do with multiroom DVRs Wikipedia it »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tru2way there is no mention of multiroom DVRs in the article.

If you look up the Samsung model SMT-H3090 it says it supports multi-room.

Samsung has no PC software by the way for streaming pictures etc to box. I looked.
