| Epix - Waste of money
This channel is as bad as the rest of the premium movie channels. How many times do they need to show Indiana Jones movies over and over again? Everytime I tune to it, it seems like it is the same movie all the time.
I want to see a premium movie channel that does not show the same movie more then 2-3 times a month. Let's add a rule it can't show the same movie two months in a row either.

| If you don't like these premium movie channels, and I am one of those that feels as you do, the same old junk, week after week, being shown. And On demand is just more of the same movies. Just don't subscribe to them and get a Net Flix or Blockbuster.com subscription so you get new releases and different movies all the time and for less monthly charge than the premiums.
I don't understand why people complain about Epix, HBO, etc., and how much they cost, etc., etc. Just cancel them and get something better. |

I enjoy the free previews but that's about it. I'm all over Netflix and the HD movie channels available as part of the ExtremeHD package.
Speaking of which this month's HDnet Movies sneak preview of "Red Cliff" looks to be fantastic |

@verizon.net | reply to darcilicious Yes, looking forward to "Red Cliff" also on HDnet. Did you catch their sneak preview last month right before Halloween of "The House of the Devil"? Really enjoyed that. |

Why don't they come up with a movie channel that attains the ultimate goal of these premium movie channels ? Seeing just how people don't realize they're watching repeats now, there's bound to be a market for this.
Call it the Short Attention Span Theater channel or just name it the same as the movie that's playing - and just repeat the same movie endlessly ! I bet they could offer it cheap.
* All this reminds me of a bunch of girls I used to know. They'd rent a Movie over the weekend and watch it 5 to 10 times. They thought that was normal ! They said they missed part of it for Bathroom breaks, phone calls, food/meals, somebody talked through part of it, and so on. |

EPIX is a work in progress so expect to see some improvements. Until then, I agree with you, they're not getting my $10/month. |

EPIX is now what HBO was back in its nascent days. Give it time and maybe it will realize its potential. If it does maybe I'll subscribe, but not now.
FIOS is free to add it to the all premiums package to which I subscribe if they wish. |

| reply to Pat Bowa The worst thing about them is that they crop new movies (the INDY films, IRON MAN, etc.). And...they exspect us to pay for that. At least The Fox Movie Cannel (even though it isn't HD yet) doesn't do it. I'll stick with them (and MGM-HD, HDNET Movies) and leave the butchered EPIX movies to those who'd pay for that practice. |
