OMG i'll fuckin die if that happens... I've had the same shitty ass SA guide for 11 years, even before Rogers took over this area it was with Shaw! -- 1-for-October. (1-7-4) And now, back to your regularly scheduled losing. |

| Yeah ... I know ... it was bad times all around. When it was 3, I got 1.2 ... when lowered to 1.5, I got 0.6 (Darned Terayon TeraPro platform!) Rogers were learning the ropes and unfortunately the cable plant topology laid by the private cable companies that Shaw bought in Toronto area was not up to the number of clients that exploded soon after Rogers and Shaw did their swap. So, one can't even totally blame Shaw. The network was good for cable ... just not good for 2way! |

| Yeah i got correct speeds on my TeraPro, lucky me... I remember the problems you and others faced... It was related to some kind of upstream multiplier, no? -- 1-for-October. (1-7-4) And now, back to your regularly scheduled losing. |

Searching is currently useless. Why I have to cruise past or even see channels I don't subscribe to is a mystery to me too... IF I explicitly punch in 347 (or whatever) and I land on a channel that I don't have - fair enough: show me the dialogue box with the verbiage about subscribing, but completely LOSE all those channels in the guide and when searching.
At the very least, make that behaviour an option - I wouldn't even care if it was the default, but I think it should be... |
