Adding to the list of former Speakeasy customers

I've been with Speakeasy for years. I came over as a former Telocity customer after they went belly up. Speakeasy have always been helpful diligent in helping debug my link. I also appreciated the indie rock as hold music. I moved about 3 years ago, they transferred my service with no problem. When my new address had latency issues they sent me a new modem and helped to work through it. The latency issue has always remained a problem and tends to be bursty. At my address, I don't really qualify for much of a speed upgrade and the pricing is pretty steep for the speed upgrade I do qualify for. I've been paying the same price for my DSL connection since I signed up with no speed improvements.

I finally got frustrated after returning from a family trip and had to upload a bunch of photos to my website. It took forever and my connection was useless during the 2 hour upload process.

After reading reviews of Comcast Business here on the Speakeasy forum, I'm getting Comcast business at 12/2 Mbps plus 1 static IP for $64/mo. I am paying $49.95/mo for 1.5/0.384 Mbps plus 1 static IP.

I have to say that so far I'm impressed with the speed of Comcast's customer service. I called today, signed my contract, and got my truck roll scheduled for Friday (could have been tomorrow but I couldn't make it).

Mail storage quota is not competitive!

Hey Speakeasy, 100 MB email storage limit is pretty low, considering how cheap storage is, and not competitive with, say DSL Extreme (70GB, according to their website main page), and DSL Extreme looks to be cheaper.

Even 1GB would be a nice change for us Imap-using customers.
