[Other] voip.ms cnam database

I have noticed that whatever database voip.ms polls for incoming CNAM does not seem to be as accurate as whatever F9 and Callcentric uses.

I get calls from many different T-Mobile cell phones (T-Mobile supports outgoing CNAM for their customers.) F9 and Callcentric are always able to bring up a name for these numbers. voip.ms only seems to bring up a name for about half of the numbers (yet they still seem to charge me for the CNAM dip!?).

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

[Equipment] Nokia E71 Betamax (freecall) Incoming call issue

Incoming calls always came in just fine on my old wifi phone. Now setting up with my nokia e71, it will connect. However, I'm only able to receive 1 or 2 incoming calls for about 2 minutes after connecting to the server. Afterward, any incoming call does not ring, and the caller either hears silence or a message such as "mailbox number 6578 is on the phone please leave a message," or the normal voicemail prompt.

Outgoing calls work fine. This applicaton on the E series seems extremely complicated and hard to figure out. What also I don't understand is that SIP settings and the SIP VOIP settings app is separate. Here are my settings. Any help is extremely appreciated:

Asterisk Music on Hold is pausing with 1 trunk only

Hello there,

I have a Trixbox CE server connected to an SPA3000 (my PSTN line), Callcentric, FutureNine and VBuzzer.

With all of the trunks music on hold works relatively well from all PSTN phones (cell & land) - except for VBuzzer. However it doesnt appear to just be a provider issue as:

a) the voice quality is exceptional
b) the music simply seems to "pause" for extended periods of time, then resumes (doesn't just cut out)

I haven't seen this problem with any other services, but its been like this since I got VBuzzer (about a week ago).

Any ideas?

[Equipment] ATA XML provisioning file info

I'm looking for info on all the config variables used in the provisioning file for a Motorola VT2442. ITs a Vonage ATA that I've unlocked via JTAG and most of the tags I can figure out but there's other that are a little too cryptic for me to guess at the meaning of them. I'm looking for preferably info on all the possible tags, but I'm alteast looking to see if there is any way to change the registration time and if there are options for controlling the echo cancellation.

Ooma Core $175 at Newegg on Thanksgiving

Thanks to member "voipjunk" for posting this in another thread. Newegg.com has the lowest price I've seen for the Ooma Core system. This is the model that comes with the old TOS. No fees/bills ever for the life of the unit. It includes Caller ID, Call Waiting and Voicemail. The $11.75 per year recovery fees do not apply to this model. If you use Bing.com cashback, you can get it for $157.99.

[Future9] Future9 status

I am a F9 customer, and have been away from these forums for about 6 months.

1. What is happening these days with F9? My line is stable, but I am not sure what's going on feature wise, etc.

2. It looks like outgoing CNAM still is not there. So, Nitzan, you used to say you were working on it, but evidently the plan has changed. What is the current plan for this?

Thanks
